Head Housekeeper:
Pay rate: £12.75 per hour.
Hours: 40 hours per week, with alternate weekend working
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at Wickmeads, our residential care home, located a stone's throw from the idyllic Tuckton Gardens and River Stour, Christchurch, Dorset.

What you will be doing:
- Leading a small dedicated TEAM.
- Ensuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained by staff in accordance with manufacturing instructions and health & safety guidelines.
- All minor faults and repairs are reported promptly and recorded
- Ensuring that rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard
- Preparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly, monthly, annual and cyclical cleaning / maintenance tasks
- Ordering stock of cleaning products and PPE including ensuring all First Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas in the event of an emergency.
- Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
- Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents own rooms
Who are we looking for:
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
Happy to LEAD THE TEAM and also join in as part of a larger Housekeeping TEAM.
